Clear, careful and accessible information reflecting the website’s current configuration.
01Controller and scope
This notice is provided pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and applicable Spanish data protection law. It explains how personal information may be processed in connection with www.musumeci.es.
Data controller: Marco Musumeci D’Agata. Contact: marco@musumeci.es. This is a personal and professional website providing information, publications and a means of contact.
02Categories of information
Depending on your interaction with the site, information may include: (a) your name, email address and any information you choose to provide when contacting us; (b) technical information required to deliver and protect the service, potentially including IP address, access date and time, requested resources and hosting-provider logs; and (c) a privacy preference stored locally in your browser.
The current website has no contact form and does not incorporate advertising analytics or behavioural tracking tools.
03Purposes and lawful bases
Information provided through correspondence is used to respond to enquiries and, where applicable, to manage a professional relationship. Depending on the circumstances, processing may rely on steps requested before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests in handling professional correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)), or consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)).
Technical data may be processed as necessary for hosting, service availability, maintenance and protection against misuse, on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to applicable legal obligations.
04Retention periods
Correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the matter and, where relevant, for applicable legal limitation, compliance or dispute-resolution periods. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting service’s actual operational configuration and applicable requirements. Local privacy preferences remain in your browser until cleared or the mechanism changes.
05Service providers and international transfers
Technology suppliers, in particular the hosting provider, may process information on our behalf subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Personal information is not sold or disclosed for advertising purposes.
Where a provider transfers personal data internationally, an appropriate transfer mechanism under Chapter V GDPR must apply. The existence and details of any such transfers depend on the actual provider arrangements and should be verified against the relevant service documentation.
06Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and withdraw consent where relied upon, without affecting prior lawful processing. Requests may be sent to marco@musumeci.es with enough information to identify the relevant request. Additional identification will be requested only where reasonably necessary.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
